OUR HISTORY
EPA Dance Studio was born under the leadership of Laura and Génesis: a space created in Medellín by two local women and instructors who understand the value and respect that teachers deserve, as well as the importance of caring for every student. We believe in the power of feeling, in the transformative experience of learning to dance, and in the dignity of this discipline as a profession to be deeply proud of.
Our studio was born from the desire to create a space that truly valued the people who make this magic possible: our instructors. Local professionals full of talent, dedication, and love for dance, whom we honor by offering fair, stable, and above all, respectful working conditions.
Of course, we dreamed of a place where dance felt close, authentic, and full of life. In Medellín, rhythm is everywhere, and we wanted to transform that energy into a space where anyone local or visitor could learn, enjoy, and genuinely connect with the essence of the city.
From the very beginning, we believed in something simple: dancing is good for you. It’s good for the heart, the body, the mind, and the community. That’s why we created a studio with personalized classes, small groups, and a warm atmosphere, so every step can be experienced with joy and without pressure.
EPA was created to celebrate dance, to honor those who teach it, and to accompany those who want to live it.

We are a 100 percent local dance studio in Medellín. We teach salsa, bachata, and Latin rhythms through private and semi-private classes, with small groups and a methodology designed to make learning to dance fast, fun, and authentic. We were born to create a space where culture is shared with pride and where our instructors receive fair and stable working conditions, elevating the value of local talent.
